New iPhone is the 'real deal'
People working hard in sales jobs and looking for something to spend their commission on could soon splash out on the next generation iPhone, with the latest model offering a wealth of useful applications and functions.
Conrad Longmore, editor at Mobile Gazette, said that it is unusual for information on a new Apple product to leak out, but he believes the so-called 'lost and found' iPhone, which was recently left in a pub, to be the genuine article.
"All the evidence is that this lost and found iPhone is the real deal. Apple will have been working hard on the next-generation iPhone ever since the iPhone 3GS was announced," he said.
Referring to reports on the Gizmodo technology guide which broke the story, Mr Longmore said the new product appears to have a screen with a much higher resolution than previous editions. While impressive, he added he expects the finished product to look more polished than the prototype.
People with commission to burn and who want to stay in touch when out of the office on a lead could also opt for an iPad, which has recently been released in the US and is meant to bridge the gap between smartphones and netbooks.
