Sales recruitment helped by iPhone applications

Applying for jobs and building up a network of contacts can help people into sales jobs, with the iPhone providing a number of applications which can help with this.

Timothy Barber, writing for CityAM, said that managing a personal network is the best way to find new openings into full-time, permanent sales recruitment positions.

He advised that the iPhone has a number of tools to do this, including LinkedIn, which Mr Barber said people "really should be on".

"It is not just a key tool for networking, but also for headhunters and recruiters looking for people to fill positions. It stores and manages your contacts, can show you who in your network is connected to companies and people that you want to get introduced to," he added.

Bump is another application which is available for free from the App Store which allows people to share important information with people they meet.

This includes an email address, phone number or other details, which might come in handy if they run into someone that might be able to help them attain a sales recruitment position.
