Mothers in employment have are wanting sales recruitment companies to offer flexible working hours, new research has shown.

A survey of over 1,600 females by WorkingMums.co.uk found 85 per cent thought flexible working hours would make an employer more family friendly.

The data also showed that homeworking opportunities in full-time roles would be welcomed.

Furthermore, 88 per cent of women said they were working below their skill level so that they could get the flexibility they needed.

A spokesperson for Coca Cola Enterprises, who was given Top Employer status by WorkingMums.co.uk, said that it was committed to creating a winning and inclusive culture.

"We want to attract, develop and retain a highly-talented and diverse workforce. We need to support our employees to deliver the best possible performance and flexible working can play a significant part in helping our employees to achieve these high levels of performance," they added.
