Employees in sales jobs who receive an appraisal are more likely to form positive opinions about their employers and immediate managers, according to a new report.

Jack Wiley, executive director of KRI, said: "It's amazing that two-fifths of the world's workforce is not receiving any formal feedback on their job performance and how they are contributing to their employer's success."

He added that job security is also improved in appraised employees at sales jobs and that regular catch-ups show strong leadership and good communication skills.
