Jobseekers 'must make immediate impression'
Employment seekers have between just eight and 30 seconds to make a first impression when going for a job interview, it has been claimed.
According to wral.com, the interview is the crucial part of any job search and candidates should ensure they prepare thoroughly.
Donna Gonyeau, who recently took a class in employment interviewing at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina, told the news provider that candidates should try to communicate information in a number of different ways.
Instructor Becky Sansbury added: "You're preparing not only your potential answers, but you're preparing yourself to understand that company, its mission, its culture and whether or not you would even be a good fit there."
She went on to say that a good interviewee will have prepared questions that they want to ask.
